TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GROUP TRAVELS

Payment Deadlines
At the time of registration, a deposit of USD 400 (United States Dollars) will be required. This amount is non-refundable and non-transferable in case the passenger cancels or withdraws from the trip.

Payment of this registration implies acceptance of the service offered by Travel Express and the Terms and Conditions, which are available on our website and are also sent at the time of the quote and registration confirmation via email.

Once the registration is paid, the passenger must make monthly payments to keep their spot valid. The program’s remaining balance is prorated into installments from the moment of registration until three months before the trip’s departure.

The obligation to pay for the services offered by Travel Express is indivisible, and alternative payment options are offered only as a convenience for the customer. At the time of paying the registration, Travel Express reserves a spot in the limited-capacity group trip, so the customer accepts the services and their conditions, as well as the Terms and the provided payment schedule.

The passenger must have paid 50% of the trip 150 days before the trip, and 100% 90 days before the trip. Failure to comply with this point gives Travel Express the option to release and use the reserved spot with other passengers and reschedule the trip for the following period, subject to the same conditions.

Considerations

Travel Express does not sell domestic airline tickets, so the right of withdrawal or transfer of domestic airline tickets does not apply.

According to the agreed Payment Plan with Travel Express, it is the responsibility of the passenger to comply with it.

A passenger who has not made a payment for two consecutive months will have their spot released in the third month, and their trip will be rescheduled for the following period, which will be duly communicated. The passenger will always have the option to regularize their payment situation.

Both the program and services included in the itinerary may be affected by external factors (such as weather, political issues, natural disasters, among others) either to Travel Express or its providers. This does not necessarily imply a refund or reimbursement. Likewise, the itinerary may undergo minor variations, always aiming to explore and visit the places indicated in it.

The planned and/or confirmed hotels may undergo alterations due to reasons beyond Travel Express and its providers. This does not imply a refund or reimbursement, as a hotel of similar category, service, and location will always be provided.

The Travel Assistance included in our programs covers from the start of the journey until arrival on national territory.

There is no refund or reimbursement for unused days or services during the trip for personal, illness, or other reasons.

Checked baggage depends on the route (origin – destination) and the airline of the program, so it should be consulted with the passenger service agent (PSA agent) for detailed information.

Published values are always for a double room with occupancy of two people. The single room supplement must be paid by the passenger who requires or needs such a service, as well as when room distribution dictates it.

Cancellation of Services

Once the services are accepted, they cannot be canceled. This is because, with the payment of the registration, Travel Express reserves a spot for the passenger on a trip with a limited number of people.

The services provided by Travel Express, including air tickets and other services contracted at the destination (such as accommodation, excursions, transfers, among others), are non- refundable and non-transferable.

Regardless of the reason, Cancellation Requests must be made up to 125 days before the trip departure, bearing in mind that:
• The Registration fee is non-refundable.
• A maximum refund of 50% of the total amount paid or deposited will be granted.

Cancellation Requests sent outside of these deadlines do not qualify for any form of refund or reimbursement.

Up to 120 days before the program departure, changes from one group to another can be made with an administrative fee of USD 200 and the issuance of a new Travel Assistance voucher. After this deadline, changes from one group to another cannot be made. Similarly, changes and trip reactivations can be made up to a maximum of one year from the departure date, starting from the date of the change request. Upon registration, Travel Express will send the Payment Invoice, the Travel Program in digital format, and the General Cancellation Conditions of the Travel Assistance company via email and WhatsApp**.

In the case of a refund through the Travel Assistance company, it is responsible for the review period and the direct refund to the passenger. Travel Express has no involvement in this process and is subject to the General Cancellation Conditions of the Travel Assistance company.

Passport and Visa Requirement

All passengers must travel with a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining before the return date and the required visas for entry and transit in the countries included in the program.

Passengers must submit a copy of their passport 4 months before the program’s departure. It is the passenger’s responsibility to have the necessary and required documentation for the scheduled trip, considering the route and countries to be visited.
